enjoying the waning days of jimmy unemployment-palooza 2k5
Just finished Dan Brown's Angels and Demons on the advice of my neighbor. Picked it up Saturday night in Santa Monica at the B&N on the 3rd street Promenade, and was gonna work out and have lunch this morning when I started reading it on the crapper and couldn't put it down until it was done.
Very well written, very intriguing. Would make a good movie, if that's of any indication of my reviewing skills. About five or six rad-assed plot twists at the very end, and I'm pleased to note that I caught two of them? Very good read.
Note on ambigrams: they're not as uncommon as Brown leads you to believe when he says that computers have been unable to create an Illuminati ambigram. You can make them by hand, as we were screwing around with them in Doc Schleimer's Calc AB class back in high school.
so what else is left for unemployment-palooza? gonna finish watching 24 Season Two (and tune in to TJ:A1 for 3am Criticisms!) and maybe bowling. And that's just today.
